Another problem is this same girl dated one of my friends. What should I do about the girl?

Ask her out. It is pretty normal to like your girlfriend’s friends and for her and her friends to like your friends. You guys are all alike and the same age and probably have a lot in common so it happens… don’t think about it too much. Ask her out.

She won’t go for it. She says that we are too good of friends and because of how close she is / was with my ex. I feel like she’s just making that excuse because she’s afraid or something… What next?
