Solution help: I need to burn water, the context is that if you have a wood stove it burns more efficient if the wood has been left for a while to season. - Help.com

I need to burn water, the context is that if you have a wood stove it burns more efficient if the wood has been left for a while to season.

I want to be able to burn water whilst it is in the wood, rather than burn the wood around the water so i turns to steam.

I think the solution is to “microwave” to wood in some way, search burning water. However I dont know what the radio frequency that they use is.

Can anyone find that or have anther suggestion

How do you mean?
Burning the water whilst it is in the wood — and this by microwave?
Microwave devices are small and closed all around. Not made for the size of wood billet.

For security reason there is no microwave tool which you can handle like a gun or so.

Jeff who comes to fablab in manchester, makes gasifiers as a hobby, I want one, he also collects microwave ovens.

I think he has in mind microwaving the biomass material before it enters the burn chamber.

Though this all sounded a bit iffy to me an him, I did a search and it seems that radio frequencies, help to split the oxygen and hydrogen.

The probable outcome is that you may have to put more engergy in than you get out.

I want to find out more about this and help.com is random enough to get good answers.

you can dry wood in a kiln. they make special ones just for drying wood. I have no idea how much $$. I bet it’s not cheap, but kiln dried wood is great!
