computer help: link to PHP file. - Help.com

link to PHP file.

I watched a 3-parts youtube video on how to make a php file, by JohnMorrisVideo. But the thing is he doesnt tell us on how to put a link to the files. I know the link to a .CSS file is:< LINK REL="STYLESHEET" TYPE="TEXT/CSS" HREF="STYLE/STYLE.CSS" / > (style/style.css as an example folder and file) but what is the .PHP link? The 3-parts video show how to change three files (header.PHP, sidebar.PHP, and footer.PHP) w/out going to every single page you have and changing everything to each page that you want to change. Please help D:
