I just need somebody to talk too right now.

I don’t have any friends. I have no close family I can talk too or anyone. I suffer from social anxiety and I am getting help for it. I am 19 year old female and really lonely and depressed. I feel like I am wasting my life away I think I am an interesting person I have a lot of interests I just lack friends becuase I am so shy. Thanks.

Thanks! Are people just born with confidence or is it how your raised and can be learned? I just really want to be one of those confident girls I see around college. I just don’t know how to be confident without friends to give me confidence if that makes sense.

They say it can be learned, but it seems to be easier said than done.

Confidence is mind game. You convince yourself that you have all the confidence in the world..be proud of who you are..own it..laugh at urself before anyone else can (i.e. I am one of the clumsiest people you will ever meet..i spill EVERYTHING..and I am a numbers GEEK!!) I guess my confidence came from friends in a way..it can definitely be learned..u just have to be open to change

No prob..its already in u!!..It sounds silly…but practice in the mirror (nobody will know but you..lol) Take a BUNCH of pics of urself with your phone..idk if you wear makeup..if you do..go to the beauty supply store..get some of the cheap stuff…fun colors..and go on youtube for tutorials (it’s how I learned to wear 3 eye shadow colors at once and not look like a clown..lol) Have fun with it! A little eye liner and lip gloss does WONDERS for confidence!
