Are my chances of getting into graduate school greater

at a university which i received my bachelors degree Or would i have better chances somewhere else? Do universities favor new students or returning students?

It really depends on the program and how the acceptance committee feels about it. Some schools would rather you go somewhere else after you undergrad, others don’t care, and some are happy to accept their own alumni. Also, if its not like a hyped up program, usually they don’t really care.

Though you’re better off asking someone in the department your thinking about applying to. A director or coordinator.
