How to make a graphic novel.

I am making a graphic novel. I am going to be the author and the illustrator. I know three steps to making the graphic novel: 1.Story line; 2.Rough sketch; 3.Detailed design, text; 4:send to editor, tells error..5.Fix text errors, redo step-3; 6. put into Adobe Photoshop/any photo editing software; any steps I missed/stated wrong?; I am working on the story line right now. and how do you get the money for everything, and how do you get the pages in different sizes? do the publishers do that, or do you put the paper at a certain size?

–Is there anything I didn’t include, or stated wrong? And the paper size, Do the publishers change the size or do you get to choose the paper size?

Uhm, why not start off with internet novels first. Finding a publisher now-a-days is hard, really hard. The internet has a lot to offer and if you can get a small gathering of people it will help back you getting it published into a paperback.

However, being an artist myself I’ve a few things to add.
First and foremost have a theme. Secondly, know your characters, have a history for them. Third, make sure the characters are consistant. This means having diagrams for their heads, the mouth phonics, and the way your going to draw their bodies in various poses and directions. Once you have this all done making a graphic novel will roll easily for you.

I don’t think it was stated, but make sure your drawing in something like photoshop or w/e and not on paper with scanning going on.
