Money help: I lent my mum money to buy my sister a car, but she has only - Help.com

I lent my mum money to buy my sister a car, but she

has only made one payment of £90 to me, I’m frustrated because if I mention it I am in the wrong, if I mention the car I am in the wrong, we haven’t got a contract but we do have a book stating her payments, if things go wrong what can I do?

Not much, because of the lack of contract …
You can threaten her with prosecution; your legal position is weak for that, but maybe she will be spooked and pays.

You should write her a letter by registered post, and determine a repayment date (some 30 days), and threaten with prosecution if the date expires without repayment in time.
