If he broke up with you because of that, he is racist, and therefore not the sweetest guy ever. I guess the way to fix everything would be to educate him. If he wasn’t so ignorant or insecure in the first place, he wouldn’t have broken up with you, so I’d try to work on fixing those issues of his if you really want him back.
