hi everyone I am 27 female from India, as i am not supposed to have sex before marriage and also lots of India men want virgins, i have kept myself as a virgin for so long, but yesterday a guy whom i like sooo much came to my house and we sorta had sex, i didn’t let him penetrate me, i kept pushing him away whenever he would try to insert his part in me, but it was like superficial, stroking in the outer part of my vagina, there was not blood, i didn’t feel anything breaking like the hymen inside, just wanted to know how long does the male part have to go inside to break the hymen, i wish I never allowed him to come that close, i am in so much regret as this is the way i am brought up to wait till marriage.

The hymen can break also from physical activity or inserting tampons. It breaks or tears quite easily.
There are some instances where the hymen is very tough and can remain in place even after intercourse. There are other cases where it simply tears during childhood without the girl knowing, or it broke later by masturbation (fingering).
It depends from woman to woman.
So, don’t worry about!
