Will vitamin E cream help with acne scarring?

I used to get very bad acne. In the end, I had no choice but to give ProActiv a try, & thankfully for me it worked 100%! I have not seen a pimple since. Yet unfortunately it has left a LOT of acne scarring. I don’t like wearing makeup all the time, but I have to so I can hide the scarring as it’s very red & noticeable. I’m just wondering if a vitamin E cream (from Avon) will help reduce it? I tried a few oils but it started to make me break out. I’ve been recommended vitamin E oil but I don’t want to risk the oil again, so would the cream work just as well?

No, but it will make your skin softer.. Retin a , works to reduce wrinkles, so it could conceivably be used to reduce the appearance of scaring.. I think the best approach is to see a dermatologist and ask about options…

I agree with aeolian mode. Your best bet would be to consult a dermatologist. Not everyone has the same skin type, and some may respond better to certain products. A dermatologist should be able to provide the right solution.
