In your opinion, what is a moral and correct life?
For instance, following laws, abstaining from drinking, not gossiping…
Does anyone have any principles that they adhere to?

so it’s ok to wrong animals.
I’m a vegetarian, I should of said anything. xD But if you’re killing an animal to eat it, I see nothing wrong with it as long as it’s harmless. But, wronging something without reason is wrong. IMO.
I think that morals come with the individual, but I do believe like the first post that our freedom ends where it hurts (for lack of better word) that of another. Even the constitution gives us all the right to the pursuit of happiness.
I am more conservative in the principles that I follow, but I wish I wasn’t
That’s hard to do. I take a walk outside, everyday. It does my physical body good and my daughter enjoys watching the world pass her by, in the safety of her stroller. And yet, I realize that I’m stepping on small insects. That the tires of the safe stroller is crushing a few bugs in it’s wake.
It seems inevitable in this way of living, so common to man today, that we will hurt something, one way or another.
it’s a paradox. every action can feasibly hurt and at the same time, help any one individual at a time. All one has to do, is look far enough with enough creativity.
But you are not going out of your way to harm something without reason are you?
No but it’s still harming.
Live your life freely but acknowledge consequence. Do no great wrong to another living thing, as they suffer their own hells. Remember that you are in possession of your mind and body, no other, so do not take risks that could be damaging. Learn to trust, but know it is something to be earned. Love you (as corny as that sounds)and do not become self loathing. Be at peace with whatever decision you make. Learn to enjoy the simple pleasures life has to offer.
Live what you believe to be right, no matter who disagrees with you or how hard it is.
Low Not related to ethics
But perception and conscience
I think you should treat others the way you want to be treated. As in love everyone. But don’t except anything in return.
And branching from that behavior will come the morals and life that awaits.
I dont think that you purposely want to harm this animals. Just as they wouldn’t purposely pick on you to have as dinner if you are hungry.

animals would love to eat me for dinner. they’d eat anyone. it isn’t personal.
that’s the gist of what I said.
Only one thing, no one must be hurt by me in any condition. if does, than hearty sorry to them.

no one is wrong.
here’s one…
following the law does not make you moral, it only makes you obedient.
Extending out proper values. What matters to you most likely will matter to most people. Those are the things you began with put a value on your valuables. When something or some one is valued you tend to take good care of those things. That’s in my opinion of a correct life. Moral should be in line with your correct. Define your moral good or bad.
Don’t hurt anyone else. As long as someone isn’t hurting anyone, let them live their lives the way they want to. Leave the world a better place than when you got there.
