If there is someone else you feel comfortable with, sleep with them by basically spooning. Sharing body heat is a great way to stay warm. Otherwise, wear a hat if you aren’t already…

If it’s that cold there, can you sleep somewhere else that is a bit warmer?

Get a blanket around you so you can keep working. You computer has some heat from it, put your hands around the area where the heat is gathering. Maybe you can buy a small plug in heater, they are not very hard to find, I am sorry that you are so cold.

Consider getting an electric blanket then.

So is it your winter then? I would think it would not be really cold in that part of the world, but if you are used to warmer climates then the differences in temp. may feel more extreme than they would to someone who is dealing with it more. I think you need a little heater, but since you do not have it a blanket and some warm tea or coffee will help you a bit.

Yes those are so great, I loved it when you are so cold and then you have turned on the blanket and jump in the bed and sleep like a baby.

Uruguay is not tropical at all, if you look at a map it’s in the south of South America, so the climate is template. We get -8C in winter with 80% humidity that makes the air even colder.

I am wrapped in a blanket right now and everything is warm except for my feet

Hehe I have to admit I do not know that area of the world but think it would be nice to visit one day. Good you got your blanket going.. I was thinking one thing I have done was to turn on the stove/oven you use to cook with for awhile tell the chill goes. Just not for a very long time as it might cause a fire, and then I would feel bad.

I always wear multiple pairs of pants when I’m cold, leggings, spandex, sweatpants, jeans, whatever you have.
Arms are also pretty cold. Put as much stuff on as you can.
I always feel like if my feet are cold, I’m cold, so I try to keep them as warm as possible.
You can try moving a bit too, I don’t suggest a workout because the sweat might make you cold, but moving your feet, legs, arms, whatever, I find that it usually makes me warmer.

I hope you get warm soon! I’m sorry you’re so cold!!!

Oh I see your comment above about not having enough money to run the oven.. I am sorry.

Well you have the computer heat .. I wish I could be more helpful as I hate to be cold and do not wish that on anyone.
