Having mixed feelings about a girl; is dating her worth a shot?
Alright so there’s this girl that I work with that I’ve started having mixed feelings about. She’s sweet and really pretty, and I love her accent (she’s from Honduras originally). I joke around with her when she pronounces a word funny, and she’ll laugh or hit me or smile really big. I can tell she likes me from how she acts around me and her body language, not to mention she asked me to go dancing with her about a week ago. BUT there’s a problem: her boyfriend. She’s in a relationship with a guy that’s currently in prison on weapon and drug charges.
Apparently he’s been trying to act crazy so they’ll transfer him to some medical place (crazy house) where she’ll be able to visit him until his eventual(?) release. She parties a bit and lives with her best friend who also happens to be her boyfriends good friend. If they ever did break up and we ended up dating, it would make it quite hard to avoid him in the long run. I know she’s done cocaine once or twice with her friend, and really I just feel bad that she’s around these ****** people. I don’t know if it’s her choice to be around them, or if they’re just influential, or if she just doesn’t have any other friends since she’s only been in the US for about 5 years or so.
Is dating her worth a shot? She’s worth it… atleast I think… like I said I’m getting feelings for her and I could honestly care less about where she’s from or what she’s done. I know she’s a really good person, and I think that I could help her. But I’m not so sure her current boyfriend will let her go so easily..he’s pretty crazy. Thoughts? Ideas? Advice? I’ll take anything from anyone, just need some input on this situation.
