it just kinda bothered me a lot. I’m always afraid he’s comparing me to other women.

You shouldn’t let this upset you. I understand you expect him to address these types of compliments exclusively to you, but I’m you have to trust this does not mean he loves you any less. Now, if he starts telling you how physically attractive other girls are or asking why you cannot look like another girl, then I believe there is a problem and your concern would be warranted.
