I need help with opiate addiction.

What’s an unsafe amount of Vicodin to take in one day? I’ve had 6 double strength (10mg) Norco in the past 12 hours (equivalent to 12 500 mg Vicodin).

I’ve been taking at least 6-10 Vicodin every day for over a year. I feel terrible when not on them. I’m sure I’m addicted. Any advice on how to quit?

Google your nearest narcotics anonymous meeting. I stopped drinking but only with the help of others, not because I am weak but because I did not have the life skills to live life sober and the stuff I needed to know I would never have thought of on my own. Also I did not understand my illness. I am so glad I asked for help and went to Alcoholics anonymous, the booze was destroying me and I was to befuddled by life to figure it out.

You may not feel like going to a meeting but ignore that feeling and just go. It will change your life if you stick with it. All the answers you are looking for are there.

A lot of times the danger with vicodin/norco is actually the acetaminophen that can be toxic to your liver. Yeah, find an NA or rehab or some type of program to get help

Also dont be fooled into thinking that because they are perscription they can not be destructive. They are addictive and affect your ability to function /health/ mental state. espesially with prolonged use past the doctors prescription.
