I probably shouldn’t be but I’m really worried.

I’ve been waiting around for my period for over a week now, maybe coming up to two weeks. My body and skin is acting as if I should be on my period (slightly bigger boobs, stomach cramp, loads of spots). I’ve had a later period before but never like this. There’s no possible way I could be pregnant. I wouldn’t call myself a smoker, but I might have a cigarette once or twice a week if things are particularly stressful. In the past week I’ve had four cigarettes, could this have delayed my period? Could I be infertile? What should I do, is it too early to consider seeing a doctor?

Stress can delay it.

For adolescent women — if you are — some period irregularities are very normal.

Thanks :) I think it must be down to stress if I’m honest, that would definitely make a lot of sense. I’ll have to keep a better track of it to be sure in the future.
