Do you want to end up on a breathing machine for the rest of your life? Or brain dead? This will only make life worst not better.

I don’t wanna read anything but an answer to my question. No bull about God or family or friends that’s not what I asked.

That would maybe be funny under some odd light. But I’m not much of a laugher. What do you think this site is even about? One thing it is not for at all, obviously, is to help people kill themselves.

Why did I even have to waste a minute typing that?

I’ve spent the last 5 years on this site. I know what it’s about. I’m legitamitely asking for help. I’m tired. So so tired. Physically and mentally. But I guess I can figure it out myself.

You shouldn’t use pain meds for anything besides physical pain. It isn’t made for mental pain and won’t help you. There are other things that will help the sort of pain you have, do you want to discuss them?

It’s just euthanasia. I’m in unbearable, untreatable pain.

I’m done discussing what’s wrong in my life and what everything like that, though I appreciate your willingness to help. It’s too late for that.

No it is not. Some part of you wants to live if you ended back here. Don’t deny that part of yourself life.

Depends on the pills obviously. It’s unlikely any amount would do it. You’d probably go into a coma and wake up with permanent brain damage, then you’d get to go through life drooling on yourself and having someone wipe your butt for you.

More to the point:

I don’t care about your family and I don’t care about your friends.

I’m not going to tell you that you have so much to live for because I don’t know you.

I’m not going to BS you about how great life is because I know how much it can really suck.

I have depression and have tried to end my life on two separate occasions, one of which put me in a coma for 5 days and in the psych ward for two weeks. I don’t mention this to engender any sympathy or to pretend to be a ‘kindred spirit’. Quite frankly, I have no idea what your going through and I am not going to insult you by pretending that I do.

But here is what I do know:

It will get better. I’ve been there and I can tell you that it does get better. Not because life magically stops sucking but because you will get better at dealing with it. I know that doesn’t exactly sound inspiring, but it’s the cold, hard truth.

I’m not here to blow sunshine up your ***. I’m not here to tell you that everything will be rainbows and unicorns. It won’t. Sometimes life will suck beyond endurance. But sometimes it will be so f******** great you’ll think you’re dreaming.

Personally, I don’t know you. Your life, and whether it continues or not, affects me not in the slightest.

But I know what wanting to end your life feels like and I know what I would’ve missed had I succeeded when I tried to end mine. I know what I was feeling and, looking back, I know how big a mistake it would’ve been.

Life will take you in directions you can’t imagine right now, stick along for the ride.

If you’re in such pain, talk to your doctor or move somewhere where physician assisted suicide is legal.
