ok. lets see : (3x-2y)^2 = (3x-2y)*(3x-2y) = ((3x*3x)-(3x*2y)-(2y*3x)+ (2y*2y)) = ((9x^2) - (6xy)-(6xy)+ (4y^2)) = 9x^2 - 12xy + 4y^2
Hope this helps.

Thank you! is there a name for the 2nd step?

Help me with: (1/x)+(1/a)=(1/b)

The 2nd step? You mean when i re-wrote (3x-2y)^2 to (3x-2y)*(3x-2y)? I don’t know the name in English i am afraid :/
