How do I know if I’ve had a seizure?
I am 26 years old, (27 in June) and have never experienced anything like last night.
I was sleeping on my stomach as I always do, and all of a sudden i felt my back jar down, and i was shaking uncontrollable and my eyes were rolling back in my head. I knew what was happening the whole time…i was aware. However During i was getting flashes of almost images, but i couldnt make any out, it was more like flases of light, and it sounded in my head like dial up internet but very fast - very electrical.
Sounds crazy - but my first though was I was being abducted by aliens. It felt and sounded like i was travelling through space, so fast..
when i came out of if, i thought, man, did I just have a seizure? I knew I was shaking, I knew my eyes were rolled back, but I couldnt move, there was nothing I could do - so after i started googling to see if i could find related experiences.
Diabetes also runs in my family - (grandmother, uncle, cousin) - not sure if it could have been this, i’ve never been tested, but dont think I have it.
Does anyone know what this could have been, or has anyone had a same experience.
Im going to see my doctor, but It was scary and thought I would see if anyone had similar experiences?
