Is beauty a sign of truth?

Sometimes I’m not so sure.

Why of truth?
As the proverb says: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
It’s subjective.

And therein lies my question. Though I know the answer, I certainly have had conflicting feelings lately. I’ve been relying too much on emotion than on logic.

Can we ever trust our subjective realities to be reminiscent of the true, objective reality (if there ever was one)?
My panic disorder has given me many delusions, I’ve experienced some hallucinations (rather, my psychiatrist is confident they are exactly that). I’m not sure what to think anymore.

I have always relied on my subjective experience to be a sign of truth. I don’t know if I can anymore, really. It is frightening, but it is beautiful.
