I feel fat but…

I know loads of people talk about this but I just don’t know because my bmi and stuff are always underweight and when people write on posts “I am 15 and waist is 23 inches and i am 166cm tall.” but the thing is that I am 154cm tall and my waist is 23inches but i just don’t feel like that and people also say “I am 166cm tall and 44kg” but that makes me feel worse because I only weigh 33kg…
I have no idea what to do?

This is gonna sound blunt, but be glad that you’re skinny. Some of us are fat and have a hard time changing that. I would talk to your doctor about any weight issues you have. They’ll do a better job than me.

Are you currently doing anything to get/stay thin?

Try a doctor friend, I have a friend who just has a super fast metabulism and no muscle so she is very thin and light, but sometimes its more serious than that. try telling a friend, one you can rely on with this, about your fear of being fat, prehaps you can look for help for yuorself together. It may be better that way?

I am really weak, and really rubbish at sports - I am not sure about stuff like core muscles but right now all I know is that I have really weak muscles. I always tend to compare myself to a girl I know that is danergously anorexic and even though I weigh less than her and am TALLER than her I still fell as though I am not statisfied. My friends say I am anorexic since a girl about half my height can lift me about 2ft of the ground but I think the probelm is I cannot accept it. To the first person’s post - I know I should be more thankful about the stuff I am saying but I think there is just something wrong with me. I guess it is kind of more of the fact that I can never be happy with myself, for example If I was the skinnest person in the world I would still feel as though I am fat if you understand what I am saying. I do sit-ups but i feel as though that is not helping and at the weekends I try to do ALOT of like running like last weekend i ran 5km but I still feel insucure. I can’t really go to a doctor because of the fact that I am quite young so… and although I have been telling a friend they don’t really help. SORRY TO RANT BUT I HAD TO GET ALL THAT OUT.

I’m really glad that you recognize that there is a problem. You need to accept that you have anorexia. As you say, even if you were the thinnest person in the world, you would still feel fat. You have a very distorted view of yourself. This is incredibly unhealthy; in reality, you are dangerously thin. Talk to an adult you trust about it. It may be a parent or teacher or counselor or doctor, anybody. I’m proud of you that you’ve realized there’s something wrong. This recognition and reach for help are important first steps in getting better. Your body will stop being able to function if you keep trying to get thinner and thinner.
