I would like to arrange a front garden of attractive perennials with globe thistles as a backdrop.

Good idea with the thistles? What other perennials would you suggest? I am in zone 3, and I would like an “old-fashioned”–Victorian”–flair. Ideas?? I’m not much of a gardener, but I love flowers and plants and try hard ;)

It sounds really gorgeous you are lucky to get to do this kind of thing. I have done floral arrangements for weddings and friends so I do get an idea of what you are looking to do, it sounds fun.

Thanks, AGAPE–maybe you know of some complimentary perennials that would go with these???
