I used to have a close childhood friend throughout primary school, but he moved to a different country in secondary school so we lost contact.

He’s been back for a few months now and i keep bumping into him- and i’m starting to really like him. Should i see if i can make anything of it, or should i leave us as just friends? we have kissed recently, but we were both drunk and we werent talking about ‘feelings’ or anything like that. help, i cant stop my feelings for him but i know reality wise its probably not a good idea to like him! :(

Give it a trial! Either it works or not.

thanks for replying! i guess i’m just worried that if it ends badly, i’ll really regret it when it comes to thinking back to my childhood friends and memories and stuff! By just leaving us as friends, then i know i wont risk losing anything. i havent been successful with guys in the past!:(

You must pre-live the future, not re-live the past! Forget what ever was. Concentrate on the Here and Now (b.t.w. for everything!).

Thank you! i think i will give it a try, but perhaps not come on too strongly, in case i put him off. i do get very worried that i am seen as clingy, desperate, etc. and i really fear rejection too, and its starting to make me feel guilty that i like someone as i just feel that i will mess up again :(
