What is it that you need help with? Maybe someone on here can help if we know what kind of geometry. Or an example of a problem.

A lot of chapter 8 is mostly vocab so nobody can really help you with those except maybe this site: http://quizlet.com/4541340/holt-chapt…

I noticed Trig was in a chapter. SOHCAHTOA helps. S(sin)O(opp)H(hyp) C(cosin)A(adj)H(hyp) T(tan)O(opp)A(adj) This shows sin=opp/hyp, cosin=adj/hyp, and tan=opp/adj

If you have a simple triangle like what is shown in your text book then to find x also find what other angle is given. Then find out if side x is adj, hyp, or opp and decide what the other angle given is. Once you know that, figure out which formula you need based on which angles you have. You will then take (cosin, sin, tan) of whatever your angle is.

Example
12.7/I
/ I x
/ I
/ I
/26degI

You have side opp and hyp so you will use sin (SOH)

sin26= x/12.7
12.7(sin26)=x
9.68=x

Hope this helps

Alot of its with circles like what equation is (x+14)/2=24 for. Stuff like that the cumulative reviews are just everything.

Sorry but I can’t help you with that… I failed that test when I was in geometry and calculus. :( Good luck to you though, sorry I can’t be more help.

That’s not an equation of a circle. That’s the equation of a straight vertical line at x=34.
