Has anyone out there ever heard of matt bregman [matthew lee bregman] of altoona, pa.?

my mother spoke to me about him in the late 1980’s many times, when we were living in altoona. just curious, if anyone knows where he is now. a friend of mine knows about how he was railroaded out of town, back then. he’d like to write a book about him-getting his side of the story. he heard how he kept a logbook back then of everything; if he would share his books with him, he said he’d be able to pay him very well.
