What should I do?

Alright, I liked this girl. She told me she just wanted to be friends. That’s fine. I was hurt but okay with it. Last week she told me she met a guy online and she likes him after one week. Alright, her business. But lately (last month and this month) I started to notice her friend. She has mentioned this friend a lot in the last six months. They aren’t friends anymore though, and when I told her I may like this girl she told me I should add her on facebook, but yesterday she started yelling at me telling me I was lying and I just want to make her jealous which is not true at all. I really have noticed her friend. I didn’t add her yet but I want to. Maybe get to know her, I don’t know. But my friend just went crazy telling me she doesn’t believe I like her. I just don’t know what to do.

Add her. Talk to her and don’t worry about what your friend thinks. Chances are she is jealous. Just do what your head tells you. What harm can come from being friends with her?

That’s what I was thinking, but they are ex friends and hate each other now, so it could get in the middle of things. But hey, she has another guy she likes so I don’t see a problem.

Exactly. Your friend will probably hate it, but that is her issue. You can be friends with who you want and date who you want. :) Good luck!

She is oberon reacting and feeling somewhat jealousy for losing her admirer (which is you). It’s typical push and pull technique you’ve accidentally applied on her and now she can’t resist. So if you listened to her right now and stopped she will go back in her crappy mode. So go ahead and add. Take the charge and ask her to stop behaving like kids and move on.

She may even ask her friend to not to respond to you. If she does then know that she is feeling rejected. Give her little attention and then take it back. That’s the universal formula to keep these females attracted to you.

But I’m wondering why she would be jealous if she likes another guy?

Girls and guys alike always want what they can’t have.

I learned this from experience. I had a girlfriend for a week and a half. She wanted to date and I finally gave in. It didn’t last long because she got what she wanted and realized she didn’t really want it. It ended mutually because I was really as interested as I thought and she didn’t really want a boyfriend.

On the opposite end, I have worked hard for a girl and never gotten her because I trailed close behind. Others I got because I did not want them and had to push them away.

Attraction is a strange thing.

In summary, she wants you because she can’t have you, she will be jealous because someone else will have you, and if you work for her you will only push her away. Seek out this other girl and regardless of what happens, don’t change your mind. If you do there will be a big mess that you just don’t want to deal with.

she didn’t spare your feelings, I mean it doesn’t sound like she was rude or anything but she put you in the friend zone. THE FRIEND ZONE! if you go after this other girl and the first girl gets jeallous, then she’s been trying to string you along this whole time. I say go after girl number two! :)

Yeah I hear ya. She believes I still like her, which is not true. I like her as a friend, but now I wouldn’t date her even if she decided she wanted to.

haha yeah. I agree. I don’t feel like she was stringing me along, but now I feel like she is overreacting. I’ll add her ex friend and see how she reacts. She’ll probably tell me she feels betrayed.

I’d make sure you think about every thing you say to your friend from here on out though as you may end up losing her as a friend if you say the wrong thing. Teenage girls can feel betrayed and stabbed in the back when it comes to things like being friends with her ex friend. This obviously isn’t like it is with guys where we just don’t care, to woman it’s more like you have to pick a side lol. I’d pursuit the ex friend too, can’t hurt afterall.

Well, but she’s 23 years old and I’m 25. I feel like she is being childish. Of course I don’t want to lose her as a friend though.

O.O not a teenager after all. Wow. She is being childish then. Definitely don’t even worry about it. Just talk to this other woman.

Already been stated, but do what you think is right. The girls can play their little mind games, but if you know what you want, go for it!
