Will I now have a virus etc?????

Yes you can.

You can try to delete it if you have a good antivirus utility that is up to date.

You have mice in the house too? Suggest maybe a different post for that….

I deleted the e-mail, but had opened the link *massive idiot.com* I don’t know if it will have installed something/just be a viral advert/will now send the e-mail to my contacts?

Deleting the email did no good other than keep you from clicking on the link again. Then you really would be a massive idiot.

I know, but will I have a virus now, how would i know what it was and what to do about it. I have no idea what these e-mail viruses are all about… (my anti-virus hasn’t picked up on anything)

I got it from a friend who then e-mailed apologising about the virus…

If you haven’t already done so update your anti-virus and then scan your hard drive.

I always run a scan if I think I’ve downloaded a virus. Can’t hurt to be oversafe on them.
