I’ve known one of my best friends for around a year and she has an older brother.

Ever since I’ve seen him around her house playing his guitar and listening to rock and roll I’ve really developed a crush on him. He is 17 an I’m 16, so is my friend. I’ve hardly talked to him but I know my friend approves of my feelings for him because I asked her first. I’m unsure of how to speak to him, because I’m always with her and the situation seems very awkward! I really would appreciate some advice on how to get to know him/flirt with him because I need to make a move already, I’ve waited a whole year and I know I won’t stop liking him anytime soon.
