Is my cherry popped?

So I’m a virgin, and you’re probably thinking “well, no stupid face.”
But a little over a year and a half ago, I went to the gynecologist and he did that fingering test thingy and it hurt like freaking crazy. It hurt so much I made him stop. And he said I could come back when I was “married” and not a virgin, lol.
I have masturbated before. I’ve gone pretty far.
I’ve been fingered by my counterpart, who also went pretty far ‘up’ there. But it doesn’t hurt AT ALL when I get fingered, not like the gynecologist. But I didn’t bleed or wasn’t sore after the doctor did it, so I didn’t think my cherry popped. How far up is that thing?! I am so confused, and afraid that it will hurt the first time because of that stupid “cherry.”

From my experience, it’s between 4 and 5.5 inches up there. Depends on your height and stuff. Unfortunately I know nothing about gyno’s so someone else will have to fill in there.
