Try craigslist, bro.
Full of people who need help.
You could even make some money.
Someone needed a logo designed for their pet-sitting business,
and I did just that.
She told me I helped her business out greatly, and she would’ve given up without me to help her.
got me a little extra money too.

But helping people won’t always help yourself.
You need to be happy with yourself on your own accord.
I can’t help you with that, for I am trying to attain the same state of being.

You can start with, I’m willing to reach out and ask help from others when I need to. That’s good!

Here are some affirmations for optimism:
http://affirmyourlife.blogspot.com/20…

These particular ones are worth reading. How it works: you try to imagine yourself into the position of the speaker making the statement. Ignore ones you don’t like and focus on the ones that actually convey the experience of the emotional states you’re working toward. Continue this until you’re strongly confident in the knowledge and attitudes that help you to experience life in the way you wished to.

I meant to just copy the link to the “optimism” category but copied the wrong thing. It really can help but only if you use it.

Then a sense of self-worth requires actually accomplishing things, even very little things; being passive and reading tends to take away from sense of self.

For me, i just need that boost of positive energy and then I can go from there. Its just when it wearsoff (when i’m alone with nothing really to do) that’s when i could use a push to keep me level, lol…. something like that :)

but sure, accomplishment all the way*

realize that esentially you are a god.
If you realize this you will have god powers literally.

Realize that what we feel about ourselves is usually just what someone has told us. Where did they get the idea of who we were, from what someone told them and so on and so on and so on. If just one person had said something different along that line we would have thought something different. SOmething different would have been passed down. From good to bad to anything. That is how unreal the image is we have of ourselves unless we have healthfully looked at ourselves and really studied who we are through open eyes. Not many people have done this and it’s not something that happens by accident.

That’s what helped me to actualize some self worth and such quickly. Just being able to let go of every single label that had ever been put on me. Those labels are just things they were told and were told because those that told them were told and so on. That’s it.

Thanks, the icon is of my daughter. I put the camera on high shutter speed and my husband threw her into the air. She loved it.

So glad it helped. : )

I found the animation interesting. It’s like it causes you to pay attention because it is so, different or something.
