HELP i failed the june 2012 Algebra2/Trig regents!

I seriously want to cry now. I got a note sent home saying that i failed it with a 57…
i’ve had a decent average in math but this regents was so hard! and i did study! I just failed the regents but i passed the class. i’m a good student! i dont know what happened?
i feel really stupid and what sucks is that i usually suck at chem …not math but i found the chem regents easy!
do i have to retake the regents again? i want to pursue in linguistics, not math so will that hurt my college transcript? i want to do better but there is no way i’m going to remember what i’ve learned this year and plus, my family is short on money.
i’m so freaking depressed right now….like the part 6 question…what the hell was that???
