Today I got offered for the first time to get an apartment with my friend and tow other girls I know from work.

It is a very real possibility. My friend and I had talked about an apartment a few years into college. However, I just graduated high school two months ago and I’m not sure if I’m ready to live on my own. What should I do?

If you’re having doubts, then maybe you shouldn’t do it just yet. I just graduated high school as well, and though I’m staying in a dorm for college, I know of someone who made the mistake of moving out too early. My step sister didn’t want to live at home (she’s more of the independent type), and her best friend asked if she wanted to get an apartment together. They did, and she told me that it was the worst experience she’s ever had. They couldn’t get along -and they’ve been friends since 3rd grade- and she ended up moving back home 4 months later. I know everyone is different, but I think you should (like me) just wait on the whole moving in together thing. You have the rest of your life to be grown up. If you had problems at home, then it would be a completely different story, but if not, then I say just enjoy your summer. Think of how close you are to these girls, and if you think it can work, go for it. Still doubts? Wait.
