Anyone here Microwave Bacon rather than Pan Frying it?

I have read it makes it really crunchy. Like how crunchy? like Potato Chip crunchy? lol

My dad does. he cooks everything in the microwave its ridiculous. Personally im not one for it, because it gets a little dry, i prefer it on a frying pan.

because I’ll make it with a pan and then not eat all of it, then put it in the fridge to store it. Then the next day I’ll heat it up in the microwave and it makes it VERY crunchy. I mean, it tastes alright, it’s just different.

I’ve made it in microwave… it’s pretty nasty. Your best to gril it as it’s healthier that way. However you choose to cook it no microwave.

YOu can nuke it and have it taste fine, but I don’t remember how. I’ve seen people wrap em in paper that’s been dampened, but I’ve never eaten it, so IDK.

They have microwave bacon now. My wife is in love with it because she can cook it in 30 seconds without getting spattered with grease. It is not bad. It is thinner than regular bacon and crunchier. We have not tried regular bacon in the microwave…. it seems like it would spatter grease all over the microwave???

I nuke it with paper towels top and bottom less grease. cook it less it taste better
