Silly modern cop shows…

. RANT!!!!!

Does anyone think it’s weird that in all the current cop/detective shows the female leads always seem to be in high heels. Not 1 or 2 inch but more like 4 inch, eg King, Rizzoli & Isles, Body of Proof.
I know these shows aren’t real but who are they aimed at and what’s the purpose in heels? It’s like Desperate Housewives mixed with Sex and the City meets Law & Order.

Um… Hollywood rarely cares about accuracy. It’s been proven that men are attracted to woman more who wear high heels, something to do with the butt.

It makes butts look like J-Lo’s. Not taking into account wearing heals for too long is bad for posture and shortens the achilles tendon. Women may as well start wearing corsets again. Since they could actually change the shape of your ribs and rearrange your innards. Women go through so much just to appease and appear attractive to men. Obviously men don’t watch enough TV so they have to stoop to lows to get men to watch. Especially with the Hollywood “are they, aren’t they”, “will they, won’t they” storylines.

Actually I worked in Hollywood for a bit and it’s not so much T & A as it sounds. These women tend to be extremely short and they use heals to get them into a better plane to shoot them with the men. Camera angle is everything and being 5′4″ is very different than 5′9″. This is why the ideal male actor is actually pretty short (Tom Cruise anyone) and the female leads he plays with if you notice do NOT wear heals because they are already in the perfect shooting plane.

Now as a guy I like watching candy on the screen as much as anybody, and it’s a grand mating game and all, but it’s not all about sex - it’s money sometimes too :)
