Feel help: I’ve never had an ipod before. - Help.com

I’ve never had an ipod before.

so I got all the music and the new music I downloaded on to the new laptop and on my ipod. I feel like what was on the old computer is a lost cause. Buttttt, ok, so I synced everything, WITHOUT editing all the new songs I downloaded so that they are formatted on the screen correctly. After I do that, will I be able to plug my ipod in the laptop and sync it so that everything is formatted the right way?

it should ask you when you plug it in if you want to sync everything, you just hit yes.
