I think it all depends on your age and what you do in your exercise….30 min sounds fine to me tho…i hope you get to where you want :)

Yes, using a wii fit.
And routinely sticking with it. 30 minutes is fine.

I’ve worked very physically labor-intensive jobs with people who were overweight and didn’t lose much weight over the months… so I think bodies are really efficient and you have to exercise at least a couple hours a day for any hope of losing weight — unless you’re really good at dieting or controlling food intake for weight loss. That seems possible but it doesn’t work for most people unless they put a lot of attention and effort into it.

I’ve heard so many times that about 30 minutes a day is really good for your health, so if that’s all you care to do, it is at least really good for you.

Learn how to cook like ol’ Willy and you’ll have NO problem with limiting your food intake.

I think diet and exercise go hand in hand.
I don’t eat much, because my body rejects massive
Portions, I think I eat something like 10 pieces of fruit aday
Along with cereal. And main meal of the day. I enjoy soup.

2 hours a day is too much, you are over training. And it really depends on your calorie intake and intensity of work out. Let’s say you eat 5000 calories a day but u are walking slow on a tread mill u ain’t gonnA loose nothing. As for the bigger people in factories its because your body becomes use to the strain of working Russel types of jobs that’s why it is important to mix up your routine

Probably don’t even have to do that much. Could also try doing contractions of opposing muscle groups and isolations while sitting.

I ussually do about 15 to 20 min of interval cardio. Like run for a min walk for a minute and depending how I am feeling up to an hour of weight lifting, sumtimes I do probably over train its important to mix up ur muscle groups tho so ones you work on a paticular day get rest, but if u are limited on time do squats, dead lifts, and or bench these exercises work large muscle groups thus you are burning more calories, as for the 10 meals a day I’ve never heard that( doesn’t mean its not out there) but I’ve heard of 5 to 6 small meals a day like 300 to 400 calories a sittin it is supposed to keep your metabolism going but I’ve heard its effective and I heard its not, but doing things like that is tuff I’d start with a journal and write down everything you eat its easy to see why you ain’t losing weight sometimes Ull forget about a few handful of chips etc. Same for your weight lifting to help keep track of where you are with increases but to be honest I do weigh myself but I ussually gauge my progress by measuring myself and or body fat percentage, it can get discouraging watching the scale n most important you gotta have patients, patients patients. Sorry so long but I’m a fitness nut right now haha

I find it really hard to believe that anyone could lose weight healthily just getting tiny amounts of exercise, unless their only nutrition was almost calorieless supernutrients. It’s probably possible, but you don’t see it happen every day.

The idea of “overtraining” is more applicable to strength training — it has to do with how muscle building involves some breakdown and rebuild of muscle tissue.

thanks for the info i looked into it and with my high blood pressure it doesnt look like i should be taking any of those supplements. looks like i will be doing this the hard way, but i am not angry about it. the hard work will pay off and i can laugh at those who are looking for the quick remedy to their problems.

Losing weight/getting in shape the hard way also prepares you for what’s involved regarding maintaining what you’ve achieved. The work doesn’t end there and those that seek the quick ‘n easy way generally don’t develop the character necessary to keep themselves fit ‘n trim.
