Love help: You say you love me. - Help.com

You say you love me.

Do you really? It’s really hard to believe you when I do everything for you and you shut me down with sarcastic comments. I get that sarcasm is your sense of humor but when it’s directed at me it breaks my heart. You say you love me. Then why do all your messages to me feel cold and distant? What am I doing wrong? Please tell me and I’ll fix it. I don’t get it. Why can’t I make you happy?

bit vauge there.. it would make a good song or poem.

sarcasm isnt intended to hurt anyone.. but when it becomes a bit of a nuisance, then its obvious you cant tell if they’re serious or joking. thats when you tell em.. its not funny anymore cuz you cant tell.

maybe you’re only focusing on the negative.

Text messages do not define love.
Tell your other that you are BOTHERED by the way they chose to communicate with you and that you would appreciate it if they treated you a LITTLE better, and IN RETURN you will try to not be so sensitive about it.
