First of all I would like to say hello to everybody.
I’m new to this website but thanks to my 15 year old daughter who was trying to help me out here because of a situation we are going through that’s how I found this website. The problem is that she didn’t quite understand the situation so here is the real story.
On March 23 of this year I was released from the hospital because of my breathing problem. I have Congestive Heart Failure and I was out of my medicine. Now, my doctor put me on disability and since this is coming from my job I had to have him fill out the paper work. This is where our problems started. When he faxed the papers to my disability company he didn’t put in the date of my disability so I sent it back for him to put in the date. The second time he faxed it to my company it had the wrong date so again I sent it back for him to fix the date. Meanwhile my disability company is sending my doctor papers for him to fill out and he kept sending him the wrong paper. Now in the mist of all this my landlord who has been very patient is wondering when he was going to get his rent. I’m running to Social Services thinking that I’m going to get help from them. Unfortunately that didn’t work. By the time the doctor got around to finally getting my paper work right I was evicted out of our apartment. Now me and my daughter are living in this shelter and he is still messing up my paperwork. Not only are we getting ready to lose our belongings that is in storage but the paper work that was suppose to be filled out before the 21st of June wasn’t even filled out.I faxed them that paperwork on the 12th of June. When I call to find out what is going on his assistant says that she faxes to the company and that she has the confirmation to prove it.The problem with this is she said this before and what she doesn’t want to admit is that they need to get a new fax machine. I’m not happy aboout being homeless. Well between my doctor and this insurance company we are paying for this screw up. I am sick of the run around and getting help for this is a pain in the carcass. We didn’t ask for this and I refuse to let them get away with this. Can somebody please tell me who to talk to and what can I do about this problem.
