How awesome is this letter?
Dear Angela,
I know in the past I’ve caused you pain. And I’m sorry. And I’ll always be sorry ’till the day I die. And I hate this pen I’m holding because I should be holding you. I hate this paper under my hand, because it isn’t you. I even hate this letter because it’s not the whole truth. Because the whole truth is so much more than a letter can even say. If you want to hate me, go ahead. If you want to burn this letter, do it. You could burn the whole world down; you could tell me to go to hell. I’d go, if you wanted me to. And I’d send you a letter from there.

It is an awesome letter. I feel so bad for the man who didn’t get credit for writing it. Did he end up with the girl?
nope, not as far as the end of season 1. show was cancelled after that
It’s horribly negative, in every sentence. The fact that sappy love drives the negativity is a poor excuse.

Sappy love? The letter may be cliche, but I don’t see why the quality of his love should be affected or determined by what you see (possibly) as an unacceptable resignation to pain.

I guess I would have to HEAR his voice giving life to the letter to fully understand this “love letter” because it seems like he’s trying to redeem himself, not actually purposefully declare his love. it’s more centered on him and his love for her than her..
It is in the link above :) He is too cowardly(?) to declare his love, but he does deliver some part of the truth secretively within the letter, if I understood the video.

Is the video worth watching?
I don’t know whether it would change your opinion or whether it is important that your opinion be changed :) It is only like a minute long though if you felt like it. Is it worth watching in the grand scene of things? Probably not, but what is? I guess it is only worth watching if you thought that your ideas about this silly letter should be as right as possible, and you want to make sure you have all the facts and feelings about it before you decide whether it is dumb. Sorry this is so long, I’m still making it longer :p I should have just said yes or no, but I felt like typing.

is angela a guy??
Lol how’d you come to that conclusion?! I think Angela is a girl played by Claire Danes who receives an apology from her sucky boyfriend in the form of a letter written by someone else who truly loves her, but isn’t brave enough to tell her :)
That is my interpretation anyways lol.

Okay good, I’m not crazy or seeing things. Who was the middle man?
The middle man is the guy pretending that he wrote the letter in order to get the girl back :)

so whose the curly haired guy?
Curly is the guy who lovingly wrote the letter to the girl he was too scared to tell about his love. So he did it sneakily within the letter - “I even hate this letter because it’s not the whole truth. Because the whole truth is so much more than a letter can even say.” He obviously loves her, but is letting guy number two take the credit for his words, that is one reason the letter is so convincing as an apology (which guy number two needed to convey to get the girl back), and why it is so negative.
