Today help: Anyone have a foot tattoo? - Help.com

Anyone have a foot tattoo?

I just got a foot tattoo yesterday, and I know you should wear sandals, etc. so it can breathe. Also, you should keep it out of the sun. Problem is, today is the 4th of July and I’m almost positive I won’t be at home and will possibly be out…in the sun. Since it’s so new, I can’t apply sun screen to it either.
Will one day be that bad, or will I be fine?

Perhaps you could wear a long flowing skirt that would both keep you cool and protect your foot from the sun. That’s really the only thing I can think from other than attaching small umbrellas to your feet. If you’re outside an sitting you could shield it with a towel.

hi there i have tamoko (Maori tattoo) on the tops of both of my feet. I used Bepanthen antiseptic cream on my feet as they were healing. Great protection, very soothing and makes tattoo stand out. Good luck!
