school help: I studied pharmacy for 7 1/2 years and was 3 months from graduating - Help.com

I studied pharmacy for 7 1/2 years and was 3 months

from graduating with my doctor of pharmacy degree when a neighbor asked me to take her birth control prescription to the pharmacy and have it filled for her. I turned out that the prescription was forged and I was expelled from school for it. Since then I have been looking for work (2 years) and have not been able to find a job. My loans are in default, I owe a considerable amount of money to the school and they will not release my transcripts so I can not finish school elsewhere. My parents have disowned me because they cosigned on some of the loans that I can not pay. I have no where to go, no way to earn a living, and lost my parents and my own family in the process. What should be my next step?

You need a lawyer. You have been treated unfairly.
You didn’t know it was forged.
So you shouldn’t have been expelled.
Apeal your expulsion.

Thanks for the suggestion, I did try this route immediately upon receiving the news from the school and my attorney filled out the appeals paperwork, but 2 hours after submitting it the school had denied the appeal. My lawyer then investigated my options in court. Because it was a state school I would have had to sue the state and he was unable to find a lawyer to refer me to that would accept the case with experience in this area. At this point (almost 2 years later) I just want to be able to earn enough money to support myself and not depend on the generosity of others for food. I tried for a jobs as a pharmacy technician but only get letters stating that they have gone with a more qualified candidate. I have applied for positions as a drug rep and never receive a response. When I apply to positions as a cashier or a waiter I get told that I am over qualified. I just need something that will pay the bills, my dreams of helping people and making a difference are pretty much shot but I’m not sure where else I should be looking.
