It’s just how I think. If you haven’t seen God and everything seems possible by hard work only, then instead of asking “Why pray?” don’t you think it would be more practical to simply not pray? Simple decision, save wasted time and effort.

Why do we pray?
We want to be heard. We want God to know, or to care, to just listen. We sometimes pray only asking things from God, or just saying thank you, but prayer is something special. It means so much more than what we can think.

Some people truly believe in God and put their faith in his infinite wisdom, power, and knowledge to call upon his assistance and guidance whenever faced with difficulties. Is it a coincidence or some sort of illusion from the human imagination when prayers are answered? Most atheists are insistent on answered prayers being one of two. However, theists making their requests known to God and then having their requests answered firmly believe that it serves as a testament to God’s existence.

This is why the world is in such a bad state, people would rather Pray than do anything to change the way things are.
