What is a good webhosting+domain provider?

I want to make a website to showcase my artwork, and I want to be able to embed html codes so i can put like a visitor counter and other coded doodads… Im not well versed in making a site, I just want cheap hosting, with good bandwith and easy to work with? I want a .ca or .com domain [.ca preferred]

If you really want to have your own domain, first of all you have to subscribe for one (which is not free), e.g. at NetworkSolutions https://www.networksolutions.com
After that you have to look out for a hosting provider — and to learn HTML, to do your own website, from the ground up.

But much easier would be to open a free blog at http://www.blogger.com (belongs to Google); then you have to install a Google account (for free) first — following the instructions given there.
