college help: College subjects to study? - Help.com

College subjects to study?

I’m at that stage now where I’ve got to start applying for colleges and pick my options, so I was wondering if anyone has studied these?
I’m thinking English Lit, Biology, Psychology and then either geography or ICT depending on the grades I achieve now.
Do these sounds okay? Has anyone studied psychology before? I have looked into and read books on it and I find it really interesting!
I also plan on going to university, so would these look good in that sense?

Oh and my GCSE’s are:
-English lang+lit
-maths
-sciences
-advanced ict
-geog
-french
-graphics
-half course RE

Psychology is really good but it depends on you ability just like what ‘the username: fairytale’ said. you learn about theories from Freud, Carls Rogers and so on. it also depends what one you’re doing because there are two psychology A and B. You might also take into consideration what you want to do in the future. Make sure that the A levels you’re doing match the requirements of university. if you are doing an apprenticeship you have to make sure what you want to do.

I know a lot of people that picked any A levels and start to retake the year to do the subjects that they want to do.

I have failed my first year of AS level by picking hard subjects and I regret that because I couldn’t cope with the workload and the subjects didn’t really make sense to me. Just be clear what you want to do. Good luck and hope that you find out what you want to do in the future. :)
