Spend your time with friends, the best thing to do is occupy yourself with things that won’t remind you of your ex - stay away from her place of work, where she would normally hang out etc. Also, if possible, avoid trying to contact her too much with emails or texts or phone calls, especially if you’re ever going to attempt getting her back. These will just make your emotions linger and it will be harder to accept the break up in the long run. Lastly, try not to blame yourself, you need to spend a lot of time and energy on feeling better about yourself, blaming yourself over the break up is not the way to go about it.

Take each day as it comes, and wear a smile no matter how hard it might be, you’ll feel better about it in no time.
