I have a guy friend who I like as more than friends.

He says I’m the closest friend that’s a girl he has/has ever had, he thinks I’m beautiful, he likes my personality, he likes how we can talk about anything, we have have similar goals in life and a ton of common interests. But he says he doesn’t see me as a girlfriend but as a “sister”, and that he doesn’t have the right feelings for me. I don’t understand, what’s going on?

He values your friendship, that’s what. If you date and things don’t end well it could destroy something he does love.

first off, how often do you talk? sometimes that can make all the difference between sister and girlfriend feelings.
