i am very shocked to discover my xhosa boyfriend is not circumsized.

According to our African tradition he is still a child and not fit for marriage. I love him, but i cannot be his girlfriend.
How can i convince him to get circumsized?

if he loves you too, just tell him to wait for himself to raise, not wait for you.
every thing has its cost.he should pay for the love cost(waiting for love)

Circumcision weather it’s tradition or not, is up to the person. In america alot of parents do it so their kids will “fit in” but they’re finding out alot of parents are starting to not do it as well (like me) the process is painful even with numbing medicines.
I hope you two figure out what it is but sometimes breaking tradition isn’t a terrible thing either. People don’t change the world by following the masses =)
