They say he likes me, but I don’t know…
I’ve begun to really like this boy this summer, since we’d been hanging out a lot. He left on a 2 week trip though, and while on that trip, our mutual friends (I’m good friends with his best friends.)(Major plus in my part? I think so!)(that was irrelevant. My bad.) figured out that I liked him and got excited because apparently, he likes(or liked?) me too. So last night was the first night we’ve hung out since he came back, and it was…different. He didnt flirt with me as much as he usually does, though we did have a few good moments. But quite a few times during the night (I’d say about 4 or 5?), he talked about this girl I guess he had a thing with earlier in the year. Example: he said that they were supposed to do something earlier in the week, but he “forgot, oops” but then proceeded to say he’d call her later… but not all of the times he talked about her were like that. That is just the one I wonder most about. Was this an attempt to tell me that he’d moved on & didn’t like me, like his friends assured me he did? Do you think he talked to her while on that trip, and his feelings on who he liked changed? (personally, I talked to him once, through text. He didn’t really keep the conversation, so after it ended (from him not texting back) I just figured he was busy, & if he’d want to talk, he’d text me… He never did.) Is he trying to make me jealous? I can’t stop thinking about it, and just wanted to get other’s opinions on what could possibly be going on. Please help, it’d be greatly appreciated :)
