I was trying to talk to this girl, and I would have

bet everything she was into me, just the way she acted around me and when she seen me she would be all smiles, I started talking about another girl and caught her going through my phone, and the other girl is going on to do her masters and I let girl one know and all of sudden she is telling me she is looking into college, but I started to talk a lot about the other girl, then I kinda had enuff off girl ones hot and cold attitude so I just came out and asked her if she was interested she said her heart belonged to her ex and that she was being friendly, do you think she is being honest? Or did me talking about the other girl turn her off? Is there anything I can do to fix this situation, I would perfer girl one.

I’d imagine she’s being honest but her heart isn’t always going to belong to her ex so just say ‘I like you and when you stop pining over your ex and want to move on then give me a shout’ and leave it at that

it may have been a huge thing for her to actually find she is attracted to another guy(you) after her ex n when she saw u with the other girl she got scared n backed out. either that or shes just a girl that is very flirty and friendly and you misconstrued it as her being into you.. you may never know what happened women are mental..well some of us are
