Ramadan traditions is so interesting . well, of course i mean according to us as muslims . It starts when we eat something before the Al-fajer prayer (time for sun to rise ) then after the prayer , we do not eat anything tell the sunset (Al-Magrib prayer ) , that what is called fasting . And it does not mean to stop eating only , it means that we have to stop doing anything wrong such as lying , cheating , and all the bad habits that we as humans do .
Allah ask us to stop eating and drinking the whole day to experience the life that poor people live , without eating and drinking ,, After the sunset , then we eat whatever we like with the care that not to gossip or telling lies (bad habits as i told a seconed ago)…
once its time to eat , no individuals
we all gathered together and eat smoothely , men together and women together
the whole family , and sometimes the whole village …

i hope that i gave you a clear picture at that , well, honestly
my english does not support me that much ..

^_^

come on , of course it is not harmful at all
we do start fasting at almost 4:30 am till 6:30 pm
and again we do eat whatever at the rest of the time,
it means ,we are free to eat from 6:30 pm till 4:30 am …
and once we eat something or drink something and we are forgeting that we are at Ramadan , we continuoe fasting coz we eat accidently NOT intentionally
and that’s why Allah do not punish us for the sin of forgetting Or being sick or having mental problems(being crazy) ..

you do not stop dreaming ever ,

to much poor people do not eat for the excuse that the do not have food , why not to ask them such question ?

we do fast to feel what they do feel , and based on that
we do give food the poor people , coz we have and they don’t ..

you can’t say that we are fasting the whole month , coz we do eat and drink each day .
and one thing more is that , i can’t disscus with you such topics till you get the knowledge of the islam base properly , then you’re welcome to ask ..

do not ask and judge till you get everything clearly , atleast open google and write
Is fasting healthy or not ?

you’re gonna get a good answer there,,

Good luck
